Digital SAT Math

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Digital SAT Math (“we”, “us”) handles personal data in the Digital SAT Math app. We are the controller for the data described below. Contact: support.satmath@proton.me.

2. The short version

3. What data we handle

Subscription data

If you subscribe, Apple takes the payment and gives us no card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID (not linked to your name or email) and the purchase and subscription status from Apple.

Data that stays on your device

The name and profile photo you choose, your test answers, scores, times, progress, and app settings are stored on your device only. We do not receive them. They are removed if you delete the app or use Profile → Reset all my data.

Technical data

When the app checks your subscription, Apple and RevenueCat may process technical data such as your IP address in their server logs, for security and to keep their service running.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, or health data, and we do not use advertising identifiers or third-party advertising or analytics tools. The app asks for access to your photo library only if you choose to add a profile photo.

4. Why we use your data

5. Who else handles data

These providers act on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. Some process data in the United States and other countries, using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or, where available, certification under a Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data.

6. How long we keep data

We do not keep personal data on our own servers. Your study data stays on your device until you delete the app or use Profile → Reset all my data. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies. We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to answer them, or where the law requires.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the EU/UK GDPR), you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy of your data, or object to processing. Most of this you can do yourself: resetting your data is in the app, and you can email us for anything else at support.satmath@proton.me. We will reply within 30 days. Where the law gives you this right, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The app is designed for high-school students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before buying a subscription. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and encrypted connections to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app.
